Dear parents and swimming members,
The new swimming season is off to a great start! The problems with the swimming water at De Meerkamp have all been solved and we are able to teach weekly classes again. Fine! Meanwhile, the first swimming exams are also approaching. On 10 December, pupils will swim for diplomas A or B. But before that happens, we will first celebrate Sinterklaas!
Sinterklaas
We have not been able to celebrate Sinterklaas at the Reddingsbrigade for a number of years, so we are very happy to announce that we will be able to do so this year. On 26 November next, all pupils are welcome from 9.00 to 10.30. There will be no swimming lessons that morning, but we will do games and the children will be allowed to swim freely. It promises to be a pleasant morning and we might even be surprised with a very special visit!
Agenda
- 26 November Sinterklaas
- 10 December exam A and B, only for pupils with an exam note All other lessons continue as usual.
- 17 December Exam Swimming Rescue and Lifesaver: swimming only for those with an exam note.
For all other groups there will be no lessons on the 17th. So also not for shallow and ABC.
- 24 December No swimming lessons
- 31 December No swimming lessons
On 7 January 2023, we will start the year again with a fresh swim! The agenda can also be found on our website: www.rb-amstelveen.nl/agenda.
If you have any further questions or comments, we would of course love to hear from you. We wish you happy Holidays and hope to see you in and around the pool!
Kind regards,
Ton Bakker, chairman
Amstelveen Rescue Brigade
